Probiotics are living microorganisms in food supplements that have beneficial effects for the body to improve balance in the digestive tract microorganism. If the balance is disturbed, bad bacteria will increase and cause health problems.
A study conducted by a team of scientists from Georgetown University Medical Center on 600 children aged 3-6 years showed that both Lactobacillus casei strains of bacteria have a positive effect to counteract a variety of infectious diseases.
