I’m one of those kinds of guys who’s always trying to remember things. Like last week for instance, I saw this program on that one Discover This network (or channel?) that really intrigued me. They had all these kinds of interesting inventors and scientists on, who were all discussing some of their latest creations. The program lasted an entire hour and by the end of it I was totally hooked on the subject. They spent the better part of their time discussing and pitching their electronic kits for kids. Right then and there it struck me that my son would like one of these, so I decided to go out and get one.

I didn’t have time to get over to the mall until the weekend, so bright and early on Saturday morning I woke up, cooked breakfast, hit the gym, then headed on out to do some shopping. For some reason I thought I was going to get there way before the crowds, but as soon as I got there I was consumed in a sea of traffic. By the time I found my way into that science store all they had left were crystal growing kits, which I thought my son might like, but I didn’t know for sure.
